Job Description
Bluescope is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst (QA) with expertise in software quality assessment to join our dedicated team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will be responsible for test identification, test case and test data design, test execution, test reporting, and automation. Your experience in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and proficiency in test automation frameworks, performance benchmarking tools, and various testing methodologies will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and objectives.
- Design test cases and test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile apps, and APIs.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Perform performance testing and benchmarking using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Document test plans, test cases, test reports, and testing processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing strategies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role, with at least X years of experience in software quality assessment.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in test case and test data design, test execution, and test reporting.
- Experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), performance benchmarking tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
- Familiarity with web, mobile apps, and API testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
