Import Data Processing and Reporting
Regulatory reporting of customer import data
Business Needs
The Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS) is utilized for maintaining records of import transactions, capturing data such as bill of entry details, import payments, and related documents. Bank users have been manually maintaining these records for customers in the regulatory system.
The need is to eliminate this manual work in the back office and develop a new screen for customers to regularize bill of entry against an Outward remittance. Transactions submitted by customers should be created simultaneously in the regulatory system.
Key Benefits
- Seamless Regularization: Customers can now effortlessly regularize their bill of entries directly through our online portal, eliminating the need for manual processing.
- Enhanced Efficiency: A streamlined approach enhances efficiency and convenience for both customers and the bank team, reducing the likelihood of errors.
- User-Friendly Experience: End users can enjoy a smoother and more user-friendly process as they manage their bill entries effortlessly online.
Solution
IDPMS is integrated with the trade portal and regulatory system. Users seamlessly log into the trade portal and navigate to our solution when the Import Regularization menu is clicked.
Bills are fetched from the regulatory system database for user selection. Transactions submitted by the user will be sent to the regulatory system using their API. A response will be received from both the regulatory system and central bank, which will be displayed to the user.
Timeframe
The implementation timeframe for this solution is 4 months.
